the website at one of many superb evenings we have had, in the
company of Gill, Sara and Tasha
This site would not have been possible without the help of our good
friend and blues and country loving guitar player Alan - Please check out his web site at: http://www.telecaster1.talktalk.net/
So there are two bands that are always in the boom box and who I just don't tire of listening to. Contrasting musical styles but both brilliant in their own ways.
First up is the local boys making good, Neil Ivison and the Misers, for a soulful, rocking, song filled night out
and, HEM,
fantastic songs, played achingly and evocatively and sung so sweetly. Rabbit Songs, Eveningland, No Word from Tom and Funnel Cloud are stunning albums.
Finally The Production Services Association that is doing a
lot to keep us all working:

Keeping me working, well you may consider that a good or bad thing after clicking on the thumbnail to see The 4SpeccyGits - no, not a new supergroup, as one of them has NO musical talent whatsoever!
Lastly, who says that ligging isn't fun, as I get to go on the Neighbours set down in Melbourne and hang with my namesake aka Lou Carpenter.
